Overview

SDI Global Consult provided senior technical expertise to support Booz Allen Hamilton and MEWA in assessing Saudi Arabia’s readiness to implement the Nagoya Protocol on Access and Benefit-Sharing (ABS). The assignment covered national benchmarking, institutional and regulatory gap analysis, economic valuation of genetic resources, cost-benefit assessment, and the design of governance and implementation options tailored to the Saudi context.
